About
DuskBox started as a group chat where a few of us kept comparing notes on games we'd downloaded during commutes and lunch breaks. At some point we figured the notes were worth publishing, so here we are. Nothing fancy, just people who like tapping screens and want to be useful.,The way we pick games is simple. We look at what people are actually installing, throw in a few odd finds nobody talks about, and play each one long enough to have a real opinion. If a game bores us after twenty minutes, we say so.,Every review runs on a phone we own, not a review unit sent by a studio. We check things that matter day to day: heat, battery, how the interface holds up on a smaller screen, whether the tutorial respects your time. Then we write it down plainly.,We're not tied to any publisher. Sometimes a small indie beats a big-budget release, sometimes it's the other way round. We just call it as we see it and try to keep the writing readable.
Katarzyna Nowak — Katarzyna has been reviewing games on and off for a decade and edits everything that goes out on DuskBox. She's the person who keeps insisting we finish a game before writing about it.
