Lucky Coin
Lucky Coin is one of those games that seems tiny until you're forty levels deep and refuse to put the phone down. You flick a spinning coin across neat wooden boards, bouncing it off pegs and ramps toward a target slot. The physics feel just weighty enough to be satisfying without becoming fussy, and each board is short, so it slots perfectly into a bus ride.
What surprised me was how much the controls respect a one-handed grip. A single thumb does everything: drag to aim, release to send the coin off. There's a gentle predicted arc when you hold, which the game slowly stops showing once you've clearly got the hang of things. I like that it trusts you to improve.
On battery it's very kind. The art is flat and clean, so my phone stayed cool through a long session and barely dropped a few percent. It's the sort of game you keep installed for months because it never nags and never overheats.
